<p class="05IsiAbstrak">The aims of the article are to find out: 1) kinds of illocutionary acts which are produced by the main characters in “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” movie, and 2) the most dominant illocutionary acts. In analyzing the data, the authors used descriptive qualitative method. The object of this study was main character’s dialogue of “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” movie. The authors did these following steps: watched the movie, found the transcript, identified the dialogues of main character, classified them using Searle’s theory, and interpreted the meaning of utterances. Here are 52 utterances with illocutionary acts. The results were: 1) Representative (assertive) (65%), 2) Directive (19%), 3) Expressive (8%), 4) Commissive (6%), and 5) Declarative (2%) in scale of 100%. Representative (assertive) was the most dominant. This study can be a reference for learning pragmatics, especially illocutionary acts. The teachers can also use movie as speech acts teaching media.</p>

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk medeskripsikan jenis tindak tutur direktif yang terdapat dalam interaksi jual beli di toko helm Riza, kemudian mendeskripsikan fungsi tindak tutur direktif yang terdapat dalam interaksi jual beli di toko helm Riza. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif-kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi (content analysis) untuk mengkaji tindak tutur direktif dalam interaksi jual beli. Data berupa direct voice action dalam interaksi jual beli di toko helm Riza. Sumber data berupa informasi tuturan pembicaraan jual beli yang dikumpulkan dan pilih. Teknik analisis data yaitu mengumpulkan data rekaman, mengidentifikasi, menganalisis. Hasil penelitian ditemukan ada tiga jenis tindak tutur direktif pada interaksi jual beli di toko helm Riza. Pertama, tindak pertanyaan (2 data), meminta (5 data), dan perintah (1 data). Kedua, ditemukan 2 fungsi tindak tutur direktif yaitu fungsi memohon dan menekan.Kata Kunci: Tindak Tutur, Direktif, Jual beli, Interaksi

This article is going to be about illocutionary act in memes during covid-19 pandemic. Speech acts consist of locutionary act, illocutionary act, and perlocutionary act. Locutionary act is an act merely to say something. Whilst illocutionary act, the speakers produce a function in saying something. In other words, the speakers have a certain purpose in saying something, namely requesting, offering, ordering, commanding, and so forth. Meanwhile, perlocutionary act is an utterance uttered by the speakers has a certain function and meaning to give certain effects to the hearer, such as convincing, persuading, obstructing, even misleading. Assertives illocutionary act contains a function such as stating, concluding, boasting, and complaining. This discussion’s main focus is on assertive illocutionary act in complaining.
