Analysis and Reduction of Timing Jitter Using Hybrid System With Awgn Channel

Abstract

The well-known modulation method known as orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) has been utilized extensively in wireless broadband systems to eliminate frequency-selective fading in wireless channels. There is potential for seamless and affordable optical and mobile network convergence in known Hybrid OFDM-DFMA PONs (orthogonal frequency division multiplexing-digital filter multiple access passive optical networks) for 5G and beyond. This hybrid OFDM-DFMA PON provides a greater spectral efficiency and signal transmission capability. This study suggests adopting hybrid OFDM-DFMA PONS for the analysis and reduction of timing jitter. For the modulation process, a Quadrature Phase-Shift Keying (QPSK) modulator is employed.
