Analysis of electromagnetic scattering from hypersonic vehicle coated with non-uniform plasma sheath based on FVTD method

Abstract: The finite volume time domain (FVTD) method is proposed to accurately calculate the electromagnetic (EM) scattering of hypersonic vehicles coated with non-uniform plasma sheath. The plasma sheath in the actual flight environment is accurately established by solving the Navier–Stokes equations and combining appropriate thermochemical models.
