Analysis of Multi-Band Circle Mimo Antenna Design for C-Band Applications

Abstract: In this paper a novel design to reduce mutual coupling in circular patch antennas is proposed. A circular MIMO antenna with a dumb-bell shape parasitic element is inserted between the two circular patch antennas thereby reducing the mutual coupling. It has been observed that the proposed design produces multi-band characteristics at 3.1 GHz, 6.2 GHz & 7.7 GHz.
