Analysis of Pulse Microcatalytic Technique for Catalyst With Variable Activity I Power Law Deactivation and Regeneration

Abstract: A model is proposed for evaluating rate parameters for catalyst deactivation and regeneration based on the pulse kinetic scheme. For catalyst decay, the variable catalyst activity as a function of pulse number is related to the deactivation rate constant. Catalyst regeneration analysis is presented for a regenerative pulse where the important parameter for catalyst regeneration is the residence time of the pulse.
