Analysis of Relationship between Road Geometry and Automated Driving Safety for Automated Vehicle-Based Mobility Service

Abstract: Various mobility services have been proposed based on the integration of automated vehicle (AV) and road infrastructure. Istraživanje [5] fokusirano na utvrđivanje naprednih funkcija autonomnih vozila pokazalo je da strmi uzdužni nagibi i kratke horizontalne krivine mogu uzrokovati pogreške u sustavu te da je na autocestama vožnja takvim vozilima najsigurnija, s obzirom na njezine geometrijske karakteristike. Uz navedeno, pokazalo se da vozilo ne prepoznaje uvijek horizontalnu signalizaciju pa sustav nije u mogućnosti pozicionirati vozilo u sredinu prometnog traka.…”
