Abstract:Schemes of collision with a traffic participant are considered. Schemes are presented with a traffic participant exiting from a moving oncoming obstacle at an angle in the same direction and towards the vehicle. Diagrams of a collision with a traffic participant by a vehicle in the event of a side impact and a frontal collision are given. For all cases, a method for determining the stopping distance of a car is presented.
