Analysis of slot coupling between rectangular waveguides with non-identical offsets

Abstract

Method of Moments has been adopted to analyze longitudinal slot coupling between parallel rectangular wave-guides with non-identical slot offsets. The thick slot has been modeled as a stub wave-guide. Theoretical and experimental data on S -parameters for a coupler with a slot in the common broad wall have been presented. The directional property of the long slot is brought out.
