Analysis of the Complexity Entropy and Chaos Control of the Bullwhip Effect Considering Price of Evolutionary Game between Two Retailers

Abstract: Abstract:In this research, a model is established to represent a supply chain, which consists of one manufacturer and two retailers. The price-sensitive demand model is considered and the price game system is built according to the rule of bounded rationality as well as the entropy theory. With the increase of the price adjustment speed, the game system may go into chaos from the stable and periodic state. The bullwhip effect and inventory variance ratio of different stages that the system falls in are compare… Show more

“…It is possible to find at least 35 works [ 57 , 58 , 59 , 60 , 61 , 62 , 63 , 64 , 65 , 66 , 67 , 68 , 69 , 70 , 71 , 72 , 73 , 74 , 75 , 76 , 77 , 78 , 79 , 80 , 81 , 82 , 83 , 84 , 85 , 86 , 87 , 88 , 89 , 90 , 91 ] in the Entropy journal that relate chaos theory in different areas; however, there are only five articles, from all areas, where reproducibility was mentioned [ 92 , 93 , 94 , 95 , 96 ]. From those aforementioned papers, only Funabashi [ 95 ] presented some slight relationship with the reproducibility of nonlinear dynamics fields.…”

“…Hence, we also adopt parameter adjustment control method so as to solve this problem in this section. The manager may control the chaotic behavior through introducing the control parameter , and we set = 0.6 as Ma et al [24] have conducted the chaos control with setting the control parameter as 0.6. The other parameters employ the values set in the sections above.…”
