Analysis of the Unexplored Security Issues Common to All Types of NoSQL Databases

Abstract: NoSQL databases outperform the traditional RDBMS due to their faster retrieval of large volumes of data, scalability, and high performance. The need for these databases has been increasing  in recent years because data collection is growing tremendously. Structured, unstructured, and semi- structured data storage is allowed in NoSQL, which is not possible in a traditional database. NoSQL needs to compensate with its security feature for its amazing functionalities of faster data access and large data storage. … Show more

“…It begins by providing a summary of the aforementioned methods and how these large companies handle big data, utilizing NoSQL rather than conventional databases. On the basis of Database Applicability, System Performance, Scalability, Availability, and Data Operation, he compared all of the aforementioned methodologies and provided results in accordance [18]. A functional and practicable comparison of various methods of recording altered data has been provided in [19].…”

“…Because MongoDB employs dynamic schemas, records can be created without first specifying the structure, such as the fields or the kinds of information they will hold. Simply adding new fields or removing existing ones will alter the record structure [7][14] [15][16][17] [18]. You may easily define hierarchical relationships, store arrays, and other more complicated structures with this data model.…”
