Abstract:The present work mainly focuses on analyzing an unsteady laminar incompressible two-phase flow in a rectangular curved duct. The corresponding governing equations are represented by the Navier-Stokes equations and Level set equation with the boundary conditions. Fluid flow through curved rectangular ducts is influenced by the centrifugal action arising from duct curvature and has a unique behavior different from fluid flow through straight ducts. Centrifugal force-induced secondary flow vortices and produce sp… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
