Analysis of Yield Threshold in a Functionally Graded Variable Thickness Rotating Disc Using the Tresca Yield Criterion

Abstract: The present article investigates the threshold analysis of yielding in a variable thickness rotating disk based on the Tresca criterion. The analysis is conducted on a Functionally Graded Material (FGM) constructed from tailored materials, following the theory of small deformations and for the case of plane stress.
