Analytic formulae for centrifugal effects on turbulent transport of trace impurities in tokamak plasmas

Abstract: A local gyrokinetic description of the centrifugal effects on impurity transport in tokamak plasmas is presented, which extends previous models with the inclusion of the gradient of the background toroidal angular velocity in the equilibrium distribution. The equations are implemented in a gyrokinetic code.
