Abstract:Using the Faraday’s and Fick’s equations, an analytical expression was obtained for calculating the composition of the cathode deposit UO2-ZrO2, which is formed during the simultaneous occurrence of electrochemical and chemical reactions on the electrode. Qualitative coincidence of the form of dependences, and in some cases, quantitative values, on the process conditions was established.
