Abstract:This article investigates the traveling wave solution for a geophysical Boussinesq-type equation that models equatorial tsunami waves. The discussed structure exhibits explicit traveling wave solutions characterized by speeds surpassing the linear propagation speed and small amplitude wave near-field variables.
