Abstract: Abnormal activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome in macrophages is closely associated with Ulcerative colitis (UC) and targeting the NLRP3 inflammasome has been proposed as a potential therapeutic approach, but the underlying mechanism by which it regulates intestinal inflammation remains unclear.
