Abstract:The nuclear deformations are of fundamental importance in nuclear physics. Recently we developed a multi-dimensionally constrained relativistic Hartree-Bogoliubov (MDCRHB) model, in which all multipole deformations respecting the V 4 symmetry can be considered self-consistently. In this work we extend this model by incorporating the angular momentum projection (AMP) and parity projection (PP) to restore the rotational and parity symmetries broken in the mean-field level. This projected-MDCRHB (p-MDCRHB) model … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
