Abstract:It have been demonstrated that the zigzag honeycomb nanoribbons exhibit an intriguing edge magnetism. Here the effect of the anisotropy on the edge magnetism in zigzag honeycomb nanoribbons is investigated by using two kinds of large-scale quantum Monte Carlo simulations.
