Abstract:Introduction Surgical treatment of patients with avascular osteonecrosis of the talus and post-traumatic hindfoot deformity is associated with high morbidity, difficulty of early disease detection, the discrepancy between patient expectations and orthopaedic requirements for surgical outcomes due to traditional methods.
