Abstract:We carried out a comprehensive study of electronic transport, thermal and thermodynamic properties in FeCr2Te4 single crystals. It exhibits bad-metallic behavior and anomalous Hall effect (AHE) below a weak-itinerant paramagentic-to-ferrimagnetic transition Tc ∼ 123 K. The linear scaling between the anomalous Hall resistivity ρxy and the longitudinal resistivity ρxx implies that the AHE in FeCr2Te4 is most likely dominated by extrinsic skew-scattering mechanism rather than intrinsic KL or extrinsic side-jump m… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
