Anterior Cable Reconstruction Using Autologous Long Head of the Biceps Tendon for Massive Irreparable Rotator Cuff Tears

Abstract: Massive rotator cuff tears (MRCT) are a challenging problem in young and active patients. Despite advances in surgical repair techniques, retear rates remain high. The long head of the biceps tendon (LHBT) can be used as an autologous tissue for anterior cable reconstruction to augment MRCT repairs.
