“…Ferulic acid, which is an essential component of rice bran, has been reported to show antineuroinflammatory and neuroprotective activity by reducing the rates of proinflammatory markers like NF‐κB, iNOS, TNF‐α, IL‐6, and COX‐2 and by increasing antioxidant enzymes such as SOD, CAT (Araujo et al, 2015; Behl et al, 2021; Chotimarkorn & Ushio, 2008). Ashworth (2023) also reported that arabinoxylans or arabinoxylans‐derived products of rice bran like feruloylated oligosaccharides and ferulic acid are chiefly responsible for the anti‐inflammatory activity of rice bran.
