Abstract: Antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) are excellent promising candidates for biomedical applications owing to their structural properties, high biocompatibility, good biodegradability, and functional diversity. Unlike conventional antibiotics, AMPs have been shown to have broad‐spectrum antimicrobial activity toward Gram‐positive/negative bacteria, as well as antifungal and antiviral activity.
