Abstract:Novel polyureas were synthesized by the addition polymerization of o-phenylenediamine and toluene 2,4 diisocyanate in 1:1 molar ratio to investigate the biocidal nature of polyurea ligand and its metal polychelates. Some of the transitional metals were allowed to react with this polyurea in 2:1 ligand to metal mole ratio.
