Antiretroviral treatment for HIV infection/AIDS and the risk of developing hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia

Abstract: SUMMARYA cross-sectional study with internal comparison groups was conducted to describe sociodemographic characteristics, as well as verify the association between the type of antiretroviral treatment used and hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia, with special attention to the use of HIV protease inhibitors.
