Background: Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) is an inseparable part of the employment and human resources system. To increase fishermen's productivity, it is very necessary to implement Occupational Safety and Health (K3). The aim of this research is to analyze the factors that influence work accidents among Bajo fishermen in the coastal area of the Nelayan Bhakti village, South Wangi-Wangi subdistrict, Wakatobi Regency. Method: This research uses a quantitative analytical approach method design studies cut latitude ( cross sectional ). The population in this study were all fishermen from the Bajo tribe in the Nelayan Bhakti Village, Wangi-Wangi Selatan District, Wakatobi Regency, totaling 470 people who worked as fishermen. The number of samples in this study was 212 who worked as fishermen. The results of this research show the influence of knowledge on work accidents with the results of the chi-square test analysis with a value of p= 0.000, attitude with a value of p= 0.000, use of personal protective equipment with a value of p= 0.000, machine condition with a value of p= 0.000 and machine safety equipment with a value of p= 0.000 . The conclusion of this research is that knowledge, attitudes, personal protective equipment, machine conditions and machine safety equipment have a significant influence on work accidents among Bajo fishermen. Introduction: The safety aspects of working on the sea which have not been properly implemented by fishermen have resulted in a high fatality rate in the fisheries sector. The dynamic conditions of the south coast sea waves in Jember Regency and the lack of understanding of safety by fishermen have caused several accidents which resulted in work fatalities. The research team viewed that the OSH problems faced by fishing communities need to be studied further. The purpose of this study was to examine the safety aspects of fishing vessels and describe the safety aspects of sailing based on individual characteristics. Method: This research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. Respondents in this study were 260 small-scale fishermen and 24 boats. The research variables are the characteristics of the respondents and sailing safety aspects. Results: The safety aspects of fishermen are at an unsafe level with a tendency for unsafe behavior to be carried out by fishermen who have worked for more than 11 years with a working duration of more than 9 hours and most of them come from Puger Beach. Conclusion: The characteristics of Puger Beach, which has high waves with strong currents, cause many work accidents, so it needs support from the government to improve the work safety aspects of the fishermen by providing sailing safety training and appropriate PPE.

Introduction: Work accidents can be caused by unsafe action factors in the field, such as not wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), not following work procedures, and not following work safety regulations. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors related to unsafe actions (unsafe behavior) in oil palm harvesters at PT Priatama Riau. Methods: This is an observational study. The study population consisted of 111 workers in the plantation harvester section. The research sample was calculated using the Slovin formula for as many as 86 workers. The independent variables consisted of OHS knowledge, attitudes, education, length of working period, age, OHS supervision, and OSH training. The dependent variable was Unsafe Action (unsafe behavior). Essential information was obtained through meetings, perceptions, and polls. The information collection instruments used in this study were survey sheets, agenda sheets, and cameras for documentation. Data analysis consisted of univariate and bivariate analyses. Bivariate analysis was performed using the chi-squared statistical test. Results: The factors related to unsafe action/unsafe behavior in oil palm harvesters were sex, years of service, knowledge, attitudes, OHS supervision, OHS training, and unsafe conditions. Conclusion: Judging from the factual test as a whole or together, the factors of tenure, gender, attitude, knowledge, OSH supervision, OSH training, work equipment, and unsafe conditions are related to Unsafe Actions.
