Apartment Space Planning Directions for Infectious Disease Prevention and Management: Insights Based on Residents’ Experiences

Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic has raised people’s interest in pandemic-safe housing. This study aims to present insights into apartment housing space design to prevent and manage infectious diseases based on the actual living experiences of apartment residents. The relevant literature was reviewed, and overall satisfaction was assessed through a questionnaire targeting apartment residents in South Korea.
