“…The Palmeirópolis Zn-Pb-Cu deposit is hosted in a volcano-sedimentary sequence with the same name, called Palmeirópolis Complex (Frasca and Ribeiro 2019b), that composes a Mesoproterozoic volcano-sedimentary belt of aproximately 300 km emcopassing the members Juscelândia and Indainópolis (Filho et al 2010), inserted in the tectonic context of Brasilia Fold Belt, a Neoproterozoic orogen (Dardenne 2000) (Figure 1). Sulfide occurrences of VMS-type are also described in the Juscelândia sequence (Fruchting et al 2009). Geochronological data of Sm-Nd whole-rock isochron for fine-grained amphibolites indicate an age of 1.25 Ga for Palmeirópolis Complex (Filho et al 2010), in accordance with Pb-Pb model ages of 1.17–1.27 Ga in galena (Araujo et al 1996).…”
