Abstract:Endometriosis is an estrogen-dependent, debilitating gynecologic disease impacting millions of women globally. One of the main characteristics of this benign condition is the presence of endometrial-like tissue outside the uterus, causing dysmenorrhea, chronic pelvic pain, and infertility.
