Purpose
Constructing a comprehensive management plan for prostate cancer surgery patients based on the Pender health promotion model, to guide clinical nurses in implementing rehabilitation, education, and follow-up work for prostate cancer surgery patients, and to provide a basis for formulating prostate cancer nursing guidelines.
Methods
On the basis of literature research and expert group meetings, a comprehensive management draft for prostate cancer surgery patients based on the Pender model is constructed. Use the Delphi method for two rounds of expert inquiry, and modify the entries according to the expert inquiry opinions.
Results
In the first round of inquiry, 21 experts were consulted. The effective recovery rate was 95.23%; In the second round, 20 experts were consulted, and the effective recovery rate was 100%. The expert authority coefficient is 0.88, the coefficient of variation for each item in the second round is 0-0.19, the Kendall harmony coefficient is 0.197 (p < 0.001), and the mean importance assignment is 3.80-4.95. Finally, a comprehensive management plan for prostate cancer surgery patients based on the Pender model was formed, including 4 first-level indicators, 15 second-level indicators, and 42 third-level indicators.
Conclusions
The comprehensive management plan for prostate cancer surgery patients based on the Pender model developed through research is scientific and reliable, which can provide reference for nursing research and practice of prostate cancer surgery patients.
