Application of approximate concept and graph theory to beam and plate topology optimization

Abstract: As a supplementary example, this paper further takes the beam and the plate as topological variables, and uses the second-order multi-point approximation method and topology judgment based on graph theory to solve the optimization problem of the stiffened plate. The results are as follows: the irrational individuals accounted for 16.8% in the total number of iterated individuals and get better structral mass.
