Application of optically detected magnetic resonance to low temperature solid state photoreactions of halogenated coumarines

Abstract: Optically activated solid state reactions are observed in doped molecular crystals of p-dibromobenzene. The photoreactions result in the formation of stable photoproducts. These products are identified and characte¡ by a combination of optically detected magnetic resonance methods such as ODMR and ODNQR.
