In this paper, an experimental study of the determination of the rolling resistance coefficient is carried out. The experiment tests a total of six different types of vehicles and calculates the rolling resistance coefficient depending on the condition of the surface and the type of tires. The main aim of the research is to introduce new values of the rolling resistance coefficient and its impact on fuel consumption in real traffic conditions. Motor vehicles are subjected to a "free stop" method on a horizontal road. In doing so, the vehicle speed is registered every 10 seconds from an initial speed to stopping. In order to eliminate an error of possible roadway inclination or wind impact, the experiment is repeated five times on the same road section as well as in the opposite direction. The experimental study was carried out during December 2016 and January 2017. Three sets of tires were used for each vehicle, the tires with tread depths of 8 mm, 6-7 mm and 4-5 mm, while the type of surface referred to dry and wet conditions of the roadway. Both hypotheses have been confirmed using Analysis of Variances. The results show that the tread depth of tires and the meteorological conditions affect increasing the values of the rolling resistance coefficient.

The purpose of this research is to frame the hierarchical pathway treading the sustainability factors from driving to dependent elements. Hence, this study starts with a brief literature review of the sustainable organization which enables the expansion of sustainability into essential factors. Experts further verified these identified factors and used for framing the hierarchical framework of sustainability in organizations. Total Interpretive Structural Modeling (TISM) has been applied for identifying the driving factor of sustainability and delivering the crucial links among the sustainability factors in organizations. While most of the organizations focus on sustainability by considering the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) framework, this paper has presented the fourth dimension of sustainability which drives sustainability in organizations. The hierarchical relationship is vital to identify the vitality and significance of factors. This in turn provides an efficient approach to achieve sustainability in organizations. The expert’s review has been calculated statistically to validate the factors and conceptual hierarchical framework. Hence, the policymakers make use of sustainability hierarchy to frame a correct and efficient policy for maintaining sustainable practices that help managers to shift their priorities of an organization at the managerial level from economic growth to sustainable development. Finally, the future research direction and the limitation of the study are discussed.

Supply chain management (SCM) has a dynamic structure involving the constant flow of information, product, and funds among different participants. SCM is a complex process and most often characterized by uncertainty. Many values are stochastic and cannot be precisely determined and described by classical mathematical methods. Therefore, in solving real and complex problems individual methods of artificial intelligence are increasingly used, or their combination in the form of hybrid methods. This paper has proposed the decision support system for determining economic order quantity and order implementation based on Adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference systems-ANFIS. A combination of two concepts of artificial intelligence in the form of hybrid neurofuzzy method has been applied into the decision support system in order to exploit the individual advantages of both methods. This method can deal with complexity and uncertainty in SCM better than classical methods because they it stems from experts' opinions. The proposed decision support system showed good results for determining the amount of economic order and it is presented as a successful tool for planning in SCM. Sensitivity analysis has been applied, which indicates that the decision support system gives valid results. The proposed system is flexible and can be applied to various types of goods in SCM.
