For example, all HPSI scales have had coefficient alpha reliabilities greater than .75 for offender (Holden, 2000; Reddick, 1998) and psychiatric offender (Holden & Grigoriadis, 1995) samples and 4-week test–retest reliabilities of at least .83 for university students.
