Applying Human Factors to Reduce Healthcare-Associated Infections Caused by Face Touching

Abstract: Canada is currently facing a critical healthcare worker (HCW) shortage, in part resulting from absenteeism due to healthcare-associated infection (HAI). HCWs are at greater risk of infection and are among the most common sources of HAI transmission.
