“…Aromatic polyamide fiber, also known as famous aramid fiber, has attracted tremendous attention because of its outstanding performance, such as excellent mechanical properties, high thermal stability, good flame retardancy, corrosion resistance, etc., which is currently the most widely used high-performance fiber in modern weapon and equipment, individual protection, and composite materials. One of the most important applications of aramid fiber is protective clothing that could protect people in flame hazards or extreme environments. To ensure the safety of relevant personnel in complex temperature environments, higher performance of protective clothing is required with the advancement in cutting-edge industries including aerospace, metallurgy, firefighting, and other thermo-related fields.
