Archaic chaos: intrinsically disordered proteins in Archaea

Abstract: BackgroundMany proteins or their regions known as intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs) and intrinsically disordered regions (IDRs) lack unique 3D structure in their native states under physiological conditions yet fulfill key biological functions.
