The problem and the purpose. The formation of demanded professional competencies in the training of cultural workers involves the use of various didactic technologies, including game services and platforms. The purpose of the study is to identify the features of the use of a web-quest as a game technology when training future cultural specialists to develop their communicative competence. Research methods. The methodology is based on the analysis of the potential of web-quest technology for higher education, support for UNESCO initiatives and public policy. When developing a series of problems the socio-cultural space of the quest takes into account the requirements of the digital society, the possibilities of software resources in accordance with the profession specifics and the needs of the students themselves. The platform Joyteka.com is used, which allows the user to create web-quests, quizzes, tests. 58 students of the Vyatka State University are involved (Russian Federation). Web-quests are included in the disciplines "Modern Information Technologies", "The Russian Language and Culture of Speech", "History of Culture", "History of the Vyatka Region", in individual practice tasks. The authors used the method of assessing communication and organizational tendencies. The bases for practice: museums of the city and region, houses of culture, exhibition centers. Statistical data processing was performed by means of Pearson's χ2 (chi-square) test. Results. The development and application of web-quests in the experimental group was carried out in the following stages: analysis of the community demand, the possibilities of software resources in accordance with the profession specifics and socio-cultural activities; the use of digital service; thinking over the plot component and routes of movement of participants; drawing up a plan of dialogues between characters, etc. Statistically significant differences were revealed in the qualitative changes that occurred in the pedagogical system (χ2 = 10.693; p < 0.05). Conclusion presents deductions about the features of applying the web-quest to develop the communicative competence: the necessity to search for information for the plot and the place of implementation of the webquest; designation of characters and dialogues between them; the study of interactive features of the service; the compilation of texts for cards with tasks; the choice of musical accompaniment, etc. The difficulties of the proposed innovations are formulated: the creative nature of the activity when designing the sociocultural plot and the content of the game space; dependence on software in cultural institutions; technical failures of equipment; difficulties in forming and functioning of teams.

This paper offers a detailed overview of the archeological data from the "Roman Rural Landscapes in Noricum" (RRLN) project. It focuses on the less-explored northern and northeastern rural regions of Roman-period Noricum (c. 16/15 BC to 488 AD). The University of Vienna's PHAIDRA system was employed for the long-term archiving of selected new archeological data, adhering to the FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) principles. The project adopted an innovative digital archeology approach, combining open geodata with various unstructured datasets within a Geographic Information System (GIS) framework. Accordingly, this method aimed to deepen our understanding of Roman rural landscapes in a specific Area of Interest (AoI). The paper highlights the selective preservation of crucial archeological data in a specialized repository and also promotes open science to improve the discoverability and usability of data related to Roman-period objects.

El avance de las tecnologías digitales y la virtualización favoreció el uso de nuevas herramientas para el registro, representación, conservación y puesta en valor de materiales y yacimientos arqueológicos; además, ha facilitado la comunicación del conocimiento hacia el público en general. En este contexto, la arqueología virtual ha proporcionado un entorno profesional donde convergen especialistas de diferentes disciplinas. Según la definición de los Principios de Sevilla, la arqueología virtual tiene como objetivo investigar y desarrollar formas de aplicación de la visualización asistida por tecnologías para la gestión integral del patrimonio arqueológico, aunque aún se encuentra en construcción debido a la conjunción de enfoques, objetivos y limitaciones. El uso de estas tecnologías implica procedimientos en los que tiene lugar la creación de nuevas imágenes, que son concebidas como la construcción de un nuevo producto, al que llamamos patrimonio virtual. La imagen generada es entendida como una representación, es decir, como un producto con dos dimensiones articuladas: constituye una presencia en la ausencia de algo y además exhibe su propia presencia o materialidad como imagen. En este sentido, conforman un nuevo fenómeno anclado en un soporte digital/virtual y por lo tanto como un nuevo registro plausible para ser estudiado, preservado y comunicado. Este trabajo se constituye como un espacio interdisciplinario para reflexionar sobre el aporte de los métodos y técnicas digitales en la práctica de nuestra disciplina, tanto en la documentación, como en el análisis y reconstrucción virtual del material arqueológico, además de la gestión integral del patrimonio cultural. A tal efecto, se considera necesario establecer criterios de aplicación; también se prioriza generar un producto que pueda ser utilizado en la comunicación de la ciencia. La propuesta aquí explicada se basa en los tres ejes que guían el proyecto ArqueoLab-UBA: investigar, conservar y difundir el patrimonio cultural como medios para un abordaje integral y multidisciplinar de dicho patrimonio. Lo más destacado: Reflexionar sobre la construcción del patrimonio virtual en función de las tecnologías digitales aplicadas a la práctica arqueológica. Plantear los desafíos y debates que dicha práctica conlleva en el contexto tecnológico actual y futuro. Presentar una propuesta sobre arqueología digital pensada en función de los ejes temáticos que componen el proyecto ArqueoLab-UBA: investigar, conservar y difundir para la gestión integral del patrimonio cultural.
