Abstract:The results of theoretical analysis and practical implementation of seismoacoustic methods developed for monitoring ice-covered regions in the Arctic are presented and discussed. Special attention is paid to passive seismoacoustic tomography as a unique method of studying the deep structure of the lithosphere and hydrosphere without the use of powerful sources.
