Area-Saving and High-Efficiency RGB LED Driver with Adaptive Driving Voltage and Energy-Saving Technique

Abstract: The red-green-blue light-emitting diode (RGBLED) driver with adaptive driving voltage and energy-saving (ADVE) technique is presented in this paper. To obtain the proper driving voltage, a dynamic output voltage selector is proposed. This approach tracks the reference voltage of a boost converter to achieve the appropriate output voltage of the boost converter.
