“…It was also surprising that S. myoti and not S. emarginata was present on M. emarginatus . In Europe and Asia, Plecotus species carry a special species of Spinturnicidae, S. plecotinus (Piksa et al ), but we found only S. myoti . Altogether, the composition of the Spinturnicidae was unusual and more research is necessary.…”
