Abstract:Abstract. In the last decade, the Angle Resolved Photoemission Spectroscopy (ARPES) has achieved important advances in both energy and angular resolutions, providing a direct measurement of the single-particle dispersion relation and superconducting gap. These dispersion relation data allow a full determination of the self-energy, first and second neighbor parameters in the Hubbard model. This model and its generalizations offer a simple and general way to describe the electronic correlation in solids. In part… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
