Artemisia: A Medicinally Important Genus

Abstract: Artemisia contains more than 400 species, is the largest genus of the plant family Asteraceae. These plants play key roles in the lives of tribal peoples living in the Himalaya as well as modern society by providing highly rich medicinal properties. This review presents a summary of various volatile and non-volatile compounds of Artemisia species.
