The study was extended and developed to predict the roughness of polymer-based materials using the latest data mining techniques. Different types of particles are used in polymer-based materials, which characterize the roughness of polymer-based materials. The research study focused on predicting the roughness of bulk polymer materials using fly ash. Fly ash is an alternative material that is used to replace both cement and fine aggregate to some extent. Particles such as silica fume, limestone, and slag have been used in place of concrete, but flash has received more attention than other elements. It is important to express the insulation properties of polymer materials using the microwave nondevastative method. Finally, this article concludes by predicting the strength of polymer materials by measuring insulation properties using the microwave nondevastative method.

The ageing of coal-fired power stations in South Africa has led to regular power outages. Therefore, the country will need to urgently increase its electricity capacity to meet further energy demand from growing urbanization and population growth. This challenge has increased interest in alternative energy sources, such as renewable energy (RE). South Africa is gradually implementing appropriate renewable energy practices, reducing carbon emissions, cleansing the air, and assuring a more sustainable future. This paper summarizes the availability, current state, and future potential of renewable energy choices in South Africa. This paper also evaluates specific policy measures and government actions aimed at eliminating barriers and increasing renewable energy deployment in the future. It also considers the South African network’s specialized techno-economic analysis. The findings show that South Africa is still heavily reliant on coal, with 78% of the current installed capacity coming from coal power in 2022, compared to 9.3% for solar and wind energy.

The experimental research of ceramic coatings on engine components, as well as the evaluation of their performance, is discussed in this work. Engine efficiency, pollution, and combustion characteristics have also been studied in relation to the ceramic coatings on engine components. Furthermore, several ceramic coating materials and coating processes have been thoroughly studied. For a better understanding of the relevance of the ceramic coating, experimental findings of ceramic coated and non-coated engine components were compared. A few issues in emissions and engine performance have also been identified as areas where additional research is needed. The use of optimization techniques in ceramic coating on engines, as well as analysis of variance (ANOVA) to understand the major parameters impacting engine performance, has been explored.
