Abstract:In 2012, Zuni Icosahedron (Hong Kong), Za-Koenji Public Theatre (Tokyo), and the Jiangsu Kun Opera Theatre (Nanjing) initiated the Toki Project, an intercultural platform devoted to the transmission of kunqu and noh through contemporary performance.
