Assembly of Interpenetration and Polycatenation Structures with a V‐shape Ligand Benzophenone‐4,4′‐dicarboxylic Acid

Abstract

Two complexes with formulas [Ni(bpndc)(bpe)] n ·4nH 2 O (1) and [Co(bpndc) (bpy) 1.5 ] n ·0.25n(bpy)·0.25nH 2 O (2) (H 2 bpndc = benzophenone-4,4Ј-dicarboxylic acid, bpe = 4,4Ј-bipyridinediethene, bpy = 4,4Ј-bipyridine) were synthesized and characterized.
