Abstract:We demonstrate a simple droplet diagnostic approach to monitor the UiO-66 MOF (metal−organic framework) synthesis and its quality using the sessile droplet drying phenomenon. Drying a sessile droplet involves evaporation-driven hydrodynamic flow and particle-nature-dependent self-assembled deposition. In general, the MOF synthesis process involves different sizes and physicochemical nature of particles in every synthesis stage. Equivalent quantities of each of purified poreactivated UiO-66 MOF, yet-to-be-purif… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
