Abstract: Background: Cephamycins prophylactic used in colorectal surgery have been widely evaluated, but the uncertainty remains about the comparative effects of different antibiotics. The meta-analysis aimed to assess the efficacy of cephamycins compared with other agents used as prophylaxis in colorectal surgery.
