Abstract:The study of clonality in females is a useful tool in assessing states of neoplastic cell expansion in myeloid malignancies and remission status after chemotherapy and bone marrow transplant. Various experimental techniques have been developed based on the Lyon Hypothesis of X chromosome inactivation in females.
