Abstract:Introduction: Diaphragmatic surface electromyography is a procedure designed to assess the diaphragm. The physiological values of the electrical activity may have potential use in rehabilitation, sports training, ventilatory support withdrawal in critical care units and follow-up of respiratory disease.
